Our home is comfortable and spacious. On the ground floor a large, fully equipped kitchen with all equipment for raw food preparation. Adjoining south-facing garden where birds, water and our rowing boat make it extra enjoyable. Bechstein Piano.
The fire place and modern sofa make the spacious living on the first floor a very cosy place. Several books in the English language.
Bedrooms: one double, one single bedroom and a study with a fold out couch which can create an extra double bed. In the toddler room there is a toddler bed: in case you have a small child, the total amount of beds could be 6 (one double, one fold out, one single and one toddler bed)
In the garage are mountain bikes and racing bikes. Open to car exchange.

Delft just may be the most beautiful and historical city of the Netherlands. It has all the historical beauty but not the hectic atmosphere of a larger city. Famous for its Delft Blue and modern Ceramics. It was the home town of the famous dutch 17th century painter Vermeer but Cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague are nearby, just like musea with famous art collections.
Our house is at 11 minutes walking distance from a railway station Delft-South which will take you quickly to these cities and the airport. Brussels and Antwerp, Cities in Belgium, are only an hour drive away.
Don't forget the abundantly green dutch landscape which gives ample opportuniy for bicycling, mountain biking or rollerblading. You can visit nearby climbing walls, artificial ski slopes and much more. We get about 10 days of snow in the Netherlands, see photo. We are an aerospace engineer, a molecular biologist and a sweet toddler daughter who was born in March 2010. We love travelling and outdoor sports like rock climbing, hiking, soaring, mountain biking, diving, skiing.
But we also like the occasional foreign city to explore, foreign food and local specialities. We are non smokers and have two cats. Your home would be in very caring hands. We bring our own toddler stuff and may want to bring along two friends if your home allows for an exchange of 4 people. This way we have our babysitters with us!
