Charming authentic townhouse near the city centre of Rotterdam. Two stories high, ensuite living/dining area, two spacious bedrooms and a small one upstairs, two separate toilets and a bathroom with bath. Nice sunny city garden with a rocking bench for relaxing summer evenings. Our travelplan for this summer are final, but we are open for weekendexchanges in Europe.

Our neighborhood
Forget Amsterdam, Rotterdam is the place to be in the Netherlands. Our home is located in a quit urban area only 5 minutes away from the big city centre with large number of shops. Nice restaurants and bars are also nearby. For children this is a nice place to live. The biggest and most beautiful Zoo of the Netherlands (Blijdorp) is only 5 minutes walk. Lots of playgrounds in the area and also some nice parcs. Rotterdam is very centraly located. Amsterdam is one hour per train of car, The Hague is only 20 minutes away. But also Belgium is nearby, in approx. 1 hour you are in Antwerp or Bruges. We live near the trainstation and Rotterdam has also an international airport. Something about ourselves
We are a family of three. Danielle (38), Richard (36) and Doris (almost 6). Danielle works as a consultant in marketing and communications for a housing company. Richard is a artist in fine arts. We heard wonderfull stories about 'houseswapping' and we like to try it ourselfs. USA is our favourite destination, but you can suprise us with other offers. For a longer period (3-4 weeks) our only possibility is the summer vacation in 2010 (from July 3rd until August 15th). But long weekends in Europe are also possible.  marks the location of this home
