Description of our house

Our house is a nice old house built in 1929 by the grandfather of my husband. The house is in the citypark with a wonderful view on old trees in front of the house. There is no traffic in front of the house, only a footpath. Though in the middle of Goes this place is very quiet. When you leave the house at the backside you are almost in the center of the town. There are a lot of shops and restaurants. The house is very comfortable and has a balcony at the backside where we sitdown when the weather is fine. From the balcony you have a fine view of the garden with a lot of flowers and some trees. We can park two cars at the backside of the garden.

The town of Goes is a historic city with a lot of buildings from the 17e and 18e century. The town has a beautiful harbour and a wonderful church from the 15e century. Not far from Goes is the city of Middelburg with also a lot of interesting old buildings and a nice museum. Veere and Zierikzee are also worth visiting. The province of Zeeland has a lot of beaches where you can swim, surf etc. Something about ourselves

We are Betty (63) and Co (66). Co took an early retirement in education. Untill last year I was working as a teacher of Dutch language and literature at a college in Goes. Now I am working at the office of my daughter. She started her own law firm this year and I am the paralegal there. We like travelling a lot. Often we are accompanied by our daughter, her husband and our grandchildren Rolf(9) and Claire(3). This home exchange we might travel together again .
