The apartment is situated in the trendy neighbourhood Westerpark. It's a 2 minute walk to the park itself, where there are some nice bars and restaurants. It's a save and pleasant neighbourhood with different grocery shops; a bakery, a butcher, a supermarket, a florist, a bookshop, and more.
In 10 minutes you walk to the characteristic Jordaan. That is the center of the old city with the famous canals and canal houses. The Westerchurch and the Anne Frank House are touristic attractions there. A walk of 5 to 10 minutes further brings you at the Dam square.
There is a bus and tram leaving in the next street. The bus brings you to Central Station in 10 minutes. The tram takes you to different parts of the city in 5 to 15 minutes (depending on where you'd like to go, for example Leidse Plein, Rijksmuseum or Van Gogh Museum).

I am a Primary school Dutch teacher in her 30's. This house is my ideal place to relax. Especially in the spring and summer, because then I can enjoy the sun in my garden. I love Amsterdam, because it has so much to offer. The different neighbourhoods all have there own charm. I've been living here of 12 years now. Before that I lived in a small town in the east of Holland. I like to travel in my holidays. I like to visit city's in Europe, but if it's possible I love to go to all parts of the world. There is so much to discover!
