My - groundfloor - apartment consists in a big living area with kitchen and large diningtable, and two spacious bedrooms each with a double bed. There is a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, and another separate toilet. The apartment has wifi.

The Rivierenbuurt is a very quiet residential neighbourhood close to the centre and close to the RAI congrescentre, buses, trams and trainstation. A very nice in- and outdoor swimmingpool is within walking distance, as are the Beatrixpark and the Amstelpark. Many restaurants and bars are nearby. Something about ourselves

I'm a literary translator (Italian to Dutch), 56 years old. Now that my son is leaving home to go to university I'm free to go wherever I want, since I don't need to stay in one place to work. Any place with internet will do. I'd very much like to spend four weeks in New York in October/November. My house is available from July 7th - august 15th 2012 and December 26th - January 5th 2013.
