- After a family summer exchange, the two of us want to have a week together in Berlin, Stockholm or Copenhagen!

Lovely home, third floor (so very light) in the south of Amsterdam. In front of the house is a small square, playground for little kids. In the morning (when sunny) we wake up with breakfast at the balcony (I'm a non smoker but smoking is of course possible at the balcony), during the day the sun gets in front of the house till late.
2 bedrooms, and 1 small tv room with a couch as an extra bed. Small kitchen with everything necessary. Toilet and shower separated. Possible to use our two bikes.
From to time to time the house of Hein in Haarlem (15 minutes from Amsterdam, virtually on the coast) is available as a double option. This house has a nice living room with a small kitchen, a master bedroom and a children's room with a double bed, large bathroom and a tiny patio. 3 Minutes by bike from trainstation (Amsterdam Zuid), also 3 minutes by bike to Vondelpark. We live in a lovely neigbourhood build in the 1940's and a lot of shops at walking distance. Also near the Museum District.

We are Ismene (41) and Hein (45). Together we have 3 children. Ismene has a 15 year old son and Hein two daughters aged 8 and 6.
Ismene is a operations manager at a former shipyard on the northern banks of the IJ. Larger than 10 football fields, the NDSM wharf is now a center for underground culture in Amsterdam. Hein is a new media and arts project manager.
For the summer 2013 we've found a family destination. What we are looking for now is a nice home away from home for Ismene and her son, near a beach or in a city (Spain, Portugal..) for a long weekend.
