We offer a three storey family house in the centre of Amsterdam. It has a very spacious, loft-like living room with open kitchen and doors to a sunny terrace, with lots of flowers and two lounging sofa's.
On the ground floor there's a bathroom with a bath tub, a big bedroom and a little garden. On the first floor is the other bathroom, with a shower, and another bedroom. The master bedroom is next to the living room, overlooking the terrace.
The house is clean, well kept, luxurious but simple. We have bicycles that you can use, to go into town (ten minutes) or outside town to the country side(ten minutes) You can swim in the water in front of the house, it's a very safe, children friendly neighbourhood with lots of playgrounds and green areas. We don't smoke and we have a cat! We offer a three storey family house in the centre of Amsterdam. The neighbourhood is called Oostelijk Havengebied, which means Eastern Harbour Area. It is built 10 to 15 years ago and it's a family friendly area, with lost of green (grass) and blue (water). There's a shopping mall at the end of the street and it's a ten minutes bicycle ride to Dam Square, where the queen has her palace.
If you go in to the other direction there's a public swimming pool, a park, and -if you cross the bridge- the picturesque Dutch countryside.
We have an old Mercedes Benz stationwagon that you can use for trips to other interesting Dutch towns as Utecht (30 km) Den Haag (65km) or Rotterdam (90km)
In this neighbourhood there are some trendsetting designshops and concert halls (jazz and pop and classical music). We're a family of 4. I work as a broadcast professional at a nationwide public radio station, my husband has his own company: he makes interiors and furniture.
We have twins, a boy and a girl, they're 13 years old.
Other things we love are music (there's a cd collection) films (we own a few dvd's as well) and books (most of them are in Dutch) We love to live in this part of town, that is so safe and friendly.
We are looking for a warm destination in february, maybe Fuerteventura? My husband loves to windsurf! We're a family of 4. I work as a broadcast professional at a nationwide public radio station, my husband has his own company: he makes interiors and furniture.
