Our apartment is very cosy, and just has a nice feel about it. It's not fancy, or very large, but for Amsterdam, it's quite big actually!:-), and it's comfortable, and clean!! We love our kitchen, where we enjoy all our meals at the large diningtable. That way you can cook, eat and talk at the same time! Very gezellig, as we say in Holland (cosy/ good atmosphere). There are 2 bedrooms. 1 with a a double bed, the other with a semi-high bed for a child, but it's regular size so a grown up can sleep in it as well. Also we have another 1 person guestbed which we can set up for you under the high bed. We also have a comfortable couch:-). There is a travel babaybed available. So with a bit of effort you could fit (or cram:-) in 5 people and a baby:-))) It has been done actually when we exchanged with a family of 5 from Denmark!:-)

Our neighborhood is very friendly, quiet, safe, and green. Near to 2 parks,(Vondelpark is a 5 minute walk), leidseplein is a ten minute walk. On the surinameplein, right by our house, you can also get tram 1 and 17 which take you to Leidseplein, Damsquare, Central Station, the Jordaan, etc, in 10 minutes. Trams run every 5 minutes. Very practical. My parents live close to our apartment, so they can give assistance, if necessary. we would gladly advise you on what to do in Amsterdam. Something about ourselves

We are a married couple in our early thirties. I am a lifestylecoach, and aerobics and yogateacher. My husband is a projectmanager in interiors. We have a cute little boy, 4 years old. We have done 3 excahnges so far; two to portugal and one to Denmark over christmas. But any ideas/ suggestions for any exchange are welcome, as I love to go on holidays as often as possible:-) We would love to see more of the world! And exchanging homes is more than just a free place to stay; It's just nice to live in a home instead of a hotel or impersonal apartment.You really get another feel of a place.
