Our beautiful family home is spacious, clean and completely renovated in 2007, when we moved in. Therefore all facilities are available. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, a fridge, a big cooker and a microwave/oven and connects to the dining/living room where also the fireplace is. From the living room there are two sliding doors going in to the garden, with fireplace and BBQ. The garden overlooks the countryside and is situated on a small brook. There is also a rather big shed in front of the house with an extra freezer and fridge and two bikes, which always can be used. On the first floor, there are two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, bathtub, sink and toilet. On the second floor are an office/guestroom and a facility room with wash machine & dryer.

As the name already says, Broek in Waterland is situated in an area with a lot of water. It is close to the Ijsselmeer, 15 minutes to the towns of Edam and Volendam, typical Dutch villages as is our village (+/- 1400AC) with beautiful houses, bridges and typical Dutch skies. Find more about our village on: http://en.wikipedia.org The village is situated only 10 minutes from Amsterdam Central Station by bus or by car. And that is what makes our village so special, on one hand you have a typical Dutch feeling and on the other hand you can get the bus (24hours direct service) to Amsterdam. The bus stops at central station which makes it easy to travel by public transport and see places. From Broek in Waterland it's also easy to get to the beach (only 20 minutes by car), to a big indoor ski slope (Spaarnwoude), to the Ijsselmeer for sailing or to a golf course (this is within bicycle reach). It's ideal for people who like to go to Amsterdam (daily), but also like to enjoy the typical Dutch countryside, with it's mills, bridges and beautiful villages. ![]() Something about ourselves

Our family is Nancy (40years), Ayla (4years), Lou (1year), Raymond (41years), Nudge the dog and Hooch the cat. We have a big tropical aquarium in the kitchen with all kind of different fishes (their names I don't know ;) Nancy works as a planner for a big television production company and I'm a freelance director/video-editor. We love to travel and see as much as possible of our beautiful earth. Our sports are skiing, sailing, tennis, surfing, bikeriding,(roller)skating and diving. We love music, dancing, antiques and good taste (for art, food and beverages ;-). ![]()
