Description of our house

I am a retired teacher who likes to travel, anywhere, anytime. My house, with a garden on the south, is very light and sunny, but there are sunshades everywhere for when it gets too sunny. It has three rooms, a living, a master bedroom and a spareroom with a convertable couch, which makes a comfortable double bed. That makes the house perfect for a family of three or for two couples. The kitchen is modern and there are 2 toilets, one in the bathroom upstairs and one downstairs. There is a shed with two bicycles. I like to spend my holidays with my partner, but sometimes I travel alone, or, if possible, with my small dog. I have made exchanges with people from Italy, France and Switzerland, which were all great, for both sides.

Zwaag is part of the community Hoorn, which is a beautiful city, bordering on the "IJsselmeer" with a beautiful harbour, old builidings and many opportunities for sailing trips. It is 30 kms from Amsterdam, 20 kms from Alkmaar with its famous cheese market. There is a busstop around the corner, a railwaystation 10 mins,and shopping centre across the road. I am a retired (female)teacher, who lives alone with my small dog Monty. I have a male partner, who does not live here, but we like to go on holidays together. I am fond of sailing, swimming and all other watersports. I have recently done some home-exchanging and liked it very much. Of course I will treat your home with care and respect.
