This great top-floor-apartment was produced in nov. 2008 in a new and small scale safe apartment-building, including private parking space. All comfort available! Big living/kitchen and two separated rooms of witch the master bedroom is now a study, overlooking Amsterdam in Eastern direction. At the sofa in this room is place for one. The smaller bedroom sleeps two. Good bathroom with bath and separated shower. Highspeed wifi, cable HDTV, Apple TV, sound-system, dvd, 2 bicycles available. Optional extra during summer: small summer cottage near the coast of North Holland (app 20 km from home).

Our neighborhood
On a quiet square near river Amstel. The building is facing one of the most classy hotels of Amsterdam, The Amstel hotel. It is a few min. walk to the theater Carré, the Opera-house, museums as the new "Hermitage", the Jewish Museum, Amsterdam Zoo. 2 min. Walk to public transport (metro, tram) connecting the main trainstations and close to great markets as Waterlooplein(fleamarket)and Albert Cuypmarket. If you really want to feel at home in Amsterdam, you can use the bicycles to go around and you will reach all the good museums, shopping centers and the lovely countryside around the city within 5 to 30 minutes. I live in Amsterdam since I was born, almost sixty years ago, but like to travel. My profession is social worker and trainer/coach in personal development and communication skills in working aerea's. I love travelling and I think this way of sharing our homes is a great opportunity to share our places and our wishes to see more of the world.
