A nice house in an architectonic famous neighbourhood near the centre of Amsterdam(20 minutes by bicycle, 10 minutes by bus, 1 hour walk). There is a livingroom with an open kitchen on the 1st floor. A bedroom on the ground floor with 2 or 3 beds. On the second floor is a bedroom with a queensize(2p) bed and outside a little terrace facing south. In the other room on the second floor we work.

In this previous harbour area there is a lot of water. So a lot of houseboats. The people who live in this neighbourhood are mostly families with young children, singles and older people. There is a mall in walking distance to do your shopping and some (+/-5)nice restaurants. There is public transportation nearby, around the corner which brings you to the centre of Amsterdam in no time and to all the big musea. With the train you are an hour away from Rotterdam and The Hague and 2 1/2 hours from Gent and Brussels in Belgium. London is a 1 hour trip by airplane. Paris a 4 hour trainride with the TGV. My name is Brenda(49) and I live here with my husband Bas(49) and our son Ezra(15). My husband is a writer and I am partly a nanny and do many other things besides that. We love to travel, read, go to the movies, theatre or musea and we regularly go to the south of Europe, Spain, Portugal, Italy or France, where its sunny and warm.
