We offer a cosy colourful 3 stories townhouse. We have a front and back yard with lots of beautiful plants and flowers and also a real Italian pizza wood oven. The ground floor has a hallway with toilet, kitchen, sunroom and living room with a big lounge couch and a wide flat screen TV. The first floor has two bedrooms with twin beds and bathroom with toilet and shower. On the second floor we have a large bath-/bedroom with bath and 1.80x2.20 waterbed. We own four friendly cats which are very little trouble because they spend most of their time in the garden. They go in and out their own little door so you don't have to bother about cleaning a litter box. Several bikes are at your disposal as well as a Chrysler Sebring Convertible with automatic tramsmission to enjoy driving through our beautiful country.

Our home is situated in Amstelveen a suburb of Amsterdam close to the airport Schiphol. The neighbourhood is very friendly with a mixture of all ages in a green environment. We are a ten minutes walk away from a big mall with shops, bars, restaurants, theatre, movies and museum. The Amsterdam forest (http://www.amsterdamsebos.com is 1 kilometre away. Here you can swim, hike, go canoeing, hire a waterbike or boat, visit the Dutch pancake house and much more. There are also several lakes and typical Dutch country side in the neighbourhood. The famous Dutch beach is at 30 kilometres. and at 2 kilometres Amsterdam, the capital of Holland with its beautiful canals with canal bikes and boat tours, historical buildings, culture, museums (Van Gogh, Anne Frank etc.), shopping, theatres, bars, restaurants, night life etc. etc. Something about ourselves

We are Marjolein and Hans a young retired couple. We enjoy traveling and meeting new people. We have done very successful home exchanges in Florida USA, Bologna Italy and Gandia Spain. We love our home and our cats and treat them with care and will definitely treat yours the same way.
