Friendly house with nice garden. The ground floor has a spacious living and a well equipped,open kitchen. There're lots of CD's as well as art books and English books. There is a lovely 1926 Bechstein piano.Wooden floors and high ceilings through out the apartment. Large doors to the garden (South). First floor, open plan, very light with large windows, bedroom, bathroom with balcony and separate second toilet.

Our neighborhood
Great location on walking distance from the Van Gogh- and Rijksmuseum, market, Concertbuilding and Vondelpark.The house is located in a tree lined street, between De Museumplein and De Pijp. It's very central and in a quiet neighbourhood, and there is a supermarket just around the corner. It is also easy to reach by public transport. Something about ourselves
We work as engineer and shiatsu therapist in Amsterdam and are both in our late thirties. We've been living here for over fifteen years and enjoy being so near to all the attractions of the city. We are very much into music, reading, yoga and running (Vondelpark). We like good food, eating out in the numerous restaurants around, as well as cooking with fresh ingredients from the Albert Cuyp market. We already had some very succesfull exchanges (New York, Copenhagen, Ireland) and are looking forward to a new swap.  marks the location of this home
