We're offering a lovely town house with nice garden. The ground floor has a spacious living and a well equipped open kitchen. There're lots of CD's and i-pod dock, as well as books on arts and English literature. There is a lovely 1926 Bechstein piano. The apartment has wooden floors and high ceilings and large doors to the garden (South). The first floor has an open plan, very light and airy with large windows, bedroom, bathroom with balcony. The second toilet in the apartment is separate from the bathroom.

Our neighborhood
Great location on walking distance from the Van Gogh- and Rijksmuseum, market, Concertbuilding and Vondelpark. The house is located in a tree lined street, between Museumplein and De Pijp, which is great for indie shopping. It's very central and in a quiet neighbourhood, and there is a supermarket just around the corner. It is also easy to reach by public transport. Something about ourselves
We work as engineer and shiatsu therapist in Amsterdam and are both in our late thirties. We've been living here for over fifteen years and enjoy being so near to all the attractions of the city. We are very much into music, reading, yoga and running (Vondelpark). We like good food and company, eating out in the numerous restaurants around, as well as cooking with fresh ingredients from the Albert Cuyp market. We already had some very succesfull exchanges (New York, Copenhagen, Ireland and Vancouver) and are looking forward to a new swap.  = marks the location of this home
