A wonderful, light and spacious apartment. The apartment is on the first floor. In one of the most beautiful streets of Amsterdam. It's a small and very wanted neighbourhood, that feels like a 'hidden' village in the heart of the city. There are 4 rooms: a lofty living room with a long dining table and a cosy sitting area with a piano. The living room has two double doors to the balcony in the front. There is also a study in the front. In the back a large bedroom and a kitchen; both have doors to another large balcony at the back. All of the rooms are light and have very high ceelings. There are beautiful old details like stained steel glass doors. There is a bathroom with a shower, a sink and a toilet. And an extra sink in the bedroom. And there is a seperate storage room with a washing machine. Central-heating in all the rooms. In the summer it stays cool. It's a lovely home; light, spacious and homely.

The apartment is situated at the east side of the center. It's a wonderful neighbourhood. Homely and secluded but still very close to the more crowded and dense city center. It's known for it's friendly atmosphere, nearby daily market, green area's and the zoo. You can compare it to what Brooklyn is for Manhattan. Although the scale is a lot smaller. Within ten minutes by bike you'll reach every part of the city. A tram stops in 1 minute walk form the apartment. But the best way to explore Amsterdam is by bike. You can use my bike. You probably won't need it, but you can also use my car if necessary. My neighbourhood is a secluded village in the city, but still close to all the hot-spots. The perfect place to stay if you wan't to explore Amsterdam. Something about ourselves
