We offer a fine 160m2 house in the quiet northern part of Amsterdam, very close to the city centre. Parking is free and easy. Downstairs you'll find the living room, open kitchen and a toilet. On the first floor there is a master bedroom (14m2) , an office/study (18m2) which can also function as an extra bedroom and a small room (6m2). Further: a bathroom with bathtub and shower and a separate toilet and a closet with washing machine and dryer. On the front of the house there is a balcony. The garden is facing south and in summer you'll have all day sun. Two trees will give also lots of shade though.

The northern part of Amsterdam is separated from the city by water. You need to take a two minute ferry trip (free, 24/7) to get there or take the car tunnel which is very close to our house. Walking to the ferry takes 15 minutes, cycling about 5. On the other side of the water you're right in the city centre and you can easily reach lots of shops, clubs, restaurants, musea etc. But close by,in the neighbourhood still in the Northern part of Amsterdam we have some very nice restaurants and terraces. The main train station with direct connection to the airport (15 minutes)is directly at the ferry terminal. Supermarket within 100 mtrs. Shopping mall five minutes by car or bicycle. Within a 10 minutes bike ride you're out of the city in a beautiful rural area with pitoresque villages with wooden houses in a green Dutch landscape. Something about ourselves

We are a family with two children. Patrick (46) and Annemarie(46), Mila(11)and Finn(8). Patrick runs his own company in interactive TV formats and communication. Annemarie is a freelance Lean consultant and carreer coach. We all love to travel. We did four very nice and succesful exchanges in 2007,2008,2009 and 2010. For summer 2013 (from 5th July till 18th August we're looking for a two/three weeks exchange in Italy, Spain or the southern part of France, but are open for offers from other countries in Europe.
