Putte is a village with 3500 inhabitants, situated at the Dutch/Belgian border, about 15 km North of Antwerp and 60 km from Brussels. Both cities have wonderful museums. Historic towns in Holland (Veere, Middelburg) and Belgium (Brugge, Gent)are not far away and even Amsterdam, Leiden and Rotterdam are within reasonable distance. Putte-Paris = 360 km. We live in a green, quiet street at walking distance from the center of town where the shops and supermarkets are located. Woods and heather fields make the area ideal for bicycle tours and hiking. To the beaches of the province of Zeeland it takes about one hour by car. Our region has a lot to offer to make your vacation unforgettable. We have a map with touristic information waiting for you! ![]() Something about ourselves

My husband (76) and I (64) retired some years ago and are travelling as often as we can. In spring and autumn we take our little trailer to every corner of the Netherlands, Belgium and France. We have also vistited Canada, Australia and the USA as well as many of the European countries. We have one daughter living nearby and two grandsons. When we are home we love to spend time with them. We hike and make cycle tours together or with friends and lately we have started with 'geocaching', a fun and modern way of treasure hunt that's practised all over the world. ![]()
