Our beautiful located farmhouse with a thatched roof offers you the ideal place to stay and travel from to anywhere in The Netherlands and the western part of Germany. A peaceful place to enjoy all the good sides of life. Our house was originally built around 1900 and has been completely renovated in 1988.

Famous biking area with a lot of small villages around. Noordwijk - the village in which we live - has just over 260 inhabitants and is only a 20 min. drive from the city of Groningen and about 10 min. from Drachten. Great places to explore, great for shopping, sightseeing, visiting museums,etc. Amsterdam is just 1,5 hours away. The German border is a 40 minute ride. Located close to the province of Friesland and Drenthe. Close to the woods and great possibilities for sailing and swimming or skating in and around the lakes of Friesland. We are Koert(1953) and Christa(1958) Koert is an international businessman. Christa is employed within social services as a consultant. We have 4 children, 2 sons in law, 1 daughter in law and 2 grandkids, 3 cats, 1 rooster and 3 chickens. We like to travel, surprise us. May-be we will take another couple along on our adventure
