Description of our house
Our home is small and (but?) cozy. Upstairs: There are three bedrooms, one very small. We've got three beds, a big one for two or two + child and two for one person. There's one bathroom, with a small bath (you can only sit) and a shower over it. One of the rooms is a childrensroom.
Downstairs: The kitchen is small, but has everything you need. One WC. A livingroom, two little gardens front and back.
A celler with a freezer.
There are three bicycles, two for adults and one for a child (20 inch). A bicycleseat for a small child is an option.

Our neighborhoodOur house is a five-minute walk from a trainstation. Trolleybusses take you around town and a little further. Ordinary busses take you everywhere. The street is lively, in summer lots of people sit in there frontyard. A supermarket is about two-minutes away. The centre of town is a ten-minute walk. The neigbourhood has a few places to eat (mostly chips), but real restaurants are not far away. You can get to all those places by walking or cycling. Our neighbourhood is located on a little hill, so walking might be easier if you're not used to cycling. Near Arnhem there is lots of nature: The Veluwe, national park. A zoo. A museum of modern arts. A museum with old dutch houses, windmills etc.
Amsterdam is about 75 munites by train.

Something about ourselvesI am 33 and my little girl is 7. We've got two cats. I work in a bookshop. We've got a lot of books, including a lot of childrensbooks (mostly in Dutch of course). I like to read, my daughter (Suze) prefers to ride her bicycle down the street, watch tv, make things out of paper and play with her friends across the street. We like to listen to music and dance. I don't have a talent for housekeeping.
