Description of our house

Our comfortable home is situated near the heart of the town. Outside you can enjoy our garden, which is childfriendly with a trampoline and sand pit, a great terrace, our chickens and vegetables. If your a smoker, its alowed to smoke outside ofcourse, there's a ashtray present. Inside we have all you need in the kitchen to make a tastfull meal. There are 4 rooms on the second floor. 3 are allready a bedroom, the 4th one can use also as a bedroom. We use it as our clothing en washing room. One of the room is a baby or childroom, we have a babybed or childbed to use if you like. But we can arrange a normal bed if thats necessary. The house is totally childfriendly. We also have a cat who lives here. It would be nice if you like cats.

Our neighbours are very friendly and helpfull. Like I said is our home situated nearby our town. You can find there supermarkets, a bakery, lots of choices for restaurants, a small shopping area. Every saturday there is a outside market. Also there is a swimming pool, golf course and horse ridingarea nearby. We have 3 bicycles to use, one of them is for a 8-12 year old. During the summer there are a lot of activities in our town to do. If you want to go to the bigger cities its possible by car (For example: Amersfoort 15 minutes, Arnhem 30 minutes, Utrecht 30 minutes, Amsterdam 45 minutes, Rotterdam 1 hour, Oberhausen, Germany 1 hour) or by bus, we have a busstop 200 meters from our home. We are a married couple Patrick and Erika van Dijk, we have 2 children, our teenager Giovanny(9 years old) and a babygirl Isabella(6 months). We never done home exchange before but we certainly want to give it a try. The thing we most like about this opportunity is to really get to know the country and its residents, and allow someone to see ours. Maybe start new friendships. We want to do our best to let you enjoy your stay here and feel comfortable in our home!
