Herwijnen is a small farmers-village (600 houses). It's situated near the river "Waal" which is a good river to find private beaches and to have a cool swim; 5 minutes from the highway A15 which brings you in 10-15 minutes to the nearest towns. 1 Hour drive to Amsterdam, 40 minutes to Utrecht, 20 minutes to Den Bosch. In Herwijnen all people still greet each other on the street, you will sense a good social environment without any pressure. Grocery shop at 1 Km. Something about ourselves

We are a happy family, Mother, Father and two sons (15 and 18 years old). We still like to have good vacations together, we think swapping houses can bring us some unexpected adventure and will bring us to other places than standard holiday parks.
