We call our Mexican home "Casa del Paraiso"...house of Paradise. It is a wonderfully peaceful retreat located near Puerto Vallarta's charming Old Town. Our condo is nestled up on the hill with a breathtaking view of Puerto Vallarta. We have two levels - the lower floor consists of a bedroom, bathroom and balcony. The upper floor includes a kitchen, bathroom, living room with pull out bed and a balcony with barbeque. Laundry facilities are available for sharing and the pool is only a few steps away. Weekly maid service is provided.

The condo is a short walk to the beach and to the many tourist attractions, shopping, excellent restaurants and outdoor activities available in Puerto Vallarta. We are located high on the hill which gives us the spectacular view; however, the walk up to our condo includes many steps. For those who find the walk up too difficult, a short cab ride will bring you right to our door. Something about ourselves

My husband and I are both teachers/instructors with two grown sons. We purchased our second home in Mexico so that we could get a break from the cold Canadian winters to enjoy the sun, sand and surf that Puerto Vallarta provides. Since our condo is a second home, it is available for non-simultaneous exchanges and we have lots of flexibility in making arrangements. We spend most of the year at our home in Alberta, Canada. This past year, we have had successful exchanges to France and Alaska. We think exchanging homes is an excellent way to "live like a local" and experience all that a region as to offer.
