San Miguel is rated one of the top destinations in the world year after year. Perhaps it is because of the near-perfect weather year round. Or maybe it is the picturesque cobble-stone streets or Spanish Colonial architecture that has inspired artists for generations. It offers a vibrant mix of artists, musicians, writers and wonderful Mexican folk traditions, fiestas, and religious celebrations. Shopping is a dream with Mexican handicrafts, boutiques, art galleries, and furniture and home-decor shops to choose from. The town is a Mexican National Historic Treasure. And, an unusual benefit, the most interesting people from all over the world visit and choose to live in San Miguel. You may make wonderful new friends. My home is situated in a quiet and private neighborhood that is a ten minute walk from the historic center and fabulous restaurants and yet is an authentic Mexican neighborhood with beautiful views of El Centro from the rooftop terrace.

I am Leslie and moved to San Miguel four years ago and feel like I found a slice of heaven here. I have done a home exchange once before and feel it is a wonderful way to see another locale and allow someone else to see mine. I would like to arrange an exchange somewhat in advance in order to get to know my fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in the San Miguel. I will be traveling with a friend who lived in Paris as a child and visited there with her husband. We are flexible as to the dates in September. We would like 3 weeks if possible.
