My house is located in a quiet upper middle class neighborhood populated by both Mexicans, Americans and Europeans. Colonial San Miguel de Allende is located at 6,000 ft. up in the mountains 3 and 1/2 hours north of Mexico City and has long been renowned as an art center. The climate is fairly moderate throughout the year. There is a large expat community. There are a wide variety of art and Spanish classes available at reasonable rates. The light is gorgeous. There are also fine restaurants, galleries and shopping. Day trips can be made to Guanajuato, Queretaro and Dolores Hidalgo, all very interesting cities. ![]() Something about ourselves

I am a retired male nurse from San Francisco and I've had a love relationship with Mexico for 40 yrs. I love to travel and have had a lot of experience at housesitting for friends. I am very respectful of other people's homes and belongings and expect that from the people I exchange with. I would like no more than three people to occupy my house. ![]()
