My home is on the fourth floor of a four store house. Three bedrooms, two twin beds and one single. Two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a large living room.As the apartment is on the top floor there are huge terraces to the east and south. The apartment is very open and bright.

Amman is unquestionably a car-city. Here everyone travels by taxis, they are numerous and very cheap. Within walking distance from my apartment there are two big grocery stores, numerous cafes, dry cleaning, bakery, banks, and restaurants. It will take about an hour to walk slowly "down town" to the old part of the city, but is is a nice walk. Up my street is Jordan Hospital in case of a need for medical assistance. I live here with my husband who works for the UN. We are Icelandic, middle age. As our children are studying in Paris, France we are looking for an exchange Amman-Paris over Christmas-new year.
