Our Jamaican vacation home Moves Cottage, is comfortable, clean, and spacious with all the basics for enjoying a stay in Negril, Jamaica's premier beach destination.
Large open plan living area with equipped kitchen for self-catering & A.C or ceiling fan. All rooms have high ceilings and fans. Windows are meshed and secure.
Bedroom 1 (2 double beds 4'6"each) in island board house style, lots of closets, a.c. and fan with a veranda wrap on 3 sides which overlooks a large gated tropical garden. The windows are meshed and the slats allow in the tropical breeze.
The 2nd bedroom is a smaller room which has a pair of adult bunks and is fan cooled.
The lounge area has 2 day-beds which can sleep two further persons with A.C.
The bathroom has a tub with overhead shower H&C.
There is space for at least 2 cars.
Linen and towels are provided except beach towels. Catering can be organised including BBQ called Jerk in Jamaica. Further information on our website click on the link. Near ocean's edge on Cliffside Negril 3min walk, - short drive to main beach 5-8 min drive - good transport 24/7 and daily bus shuttle
Our home called Moves Cottage, is in a village type neighbourhood just 2 minutes walk to the nearest hotels. The ocean's edge is just down the street. Near local resort pools, restaurants, bars and quaint inns open to non residents and a short stroll to world famous Rick's Cafe for nightly sunset live reggae parties.
The main Negril 7 mile sandy beach is just 8 minutes drive with free shuttles daily. Negril was made famous by a song Little Cottage in Negril and people have flocked to Negril ever since. The nearest airport is Montego Bay, a city with smaller beach area. Negril is called the Capital of Casual, you simply chill in Negril. Nightly live reggae shows on the beach almost every night. Jay is Jamaican and works in property maintenance business and has lived overseas particularly in London UK. Valerie is Irish and is an Office Manager who has lived in Ireland, UK, Israel and Jamaica. Besides our trips to Jamaica we take weekends away and also visit other countries. Our holiday home Moves Cottage has an availability calendar on our website so you can see when you can stay. We like to have some long weekends as well as a 1 week and a 2 week trip in Europe and would welcome a swap or exchange in France, Italy, Greece and Spain, 2012 (not UK).
