The apartment is modern and well maintained. It has a wonderfull terrace, with a great view, which is ideal for eating out during the warm summer evenings. There are 2 bedrooms, separate bathroom and large airy lounge with integral kitchen area. There is a gas hob (no oven) and fridge with a range of cupboards. There are 2 armchairs, one 3 seater settee, a coffee table and 1 dining table with 4 chairs. There are also 2 sun loungers for outside use. The apartment is a short walking distance from town.

The apartment is in a small spa town (Bagni di Lucca) on a river approx 25 kilometres from the walled city of Lucca. Bagni di Lucca is an historic place which was frequented by many British artists and poets. It is in the foothills of the Appenines, and is ideal for touring Florence, Pisa, Siena and Viareggio. It has several restaurants, shops and a park. The nearest coast, where you can enjoy wonderful beaches and swimming in the warm sea, is is an hour's drive. There is also a beautifull, large outdoor public pool 2 minutes from the apartment. There are also many places to swim/fish in the local river. The whole area is dotted with typical mediaeval Tuscan villages and, during August, there is a whole range of outdoor activities taking place. Something about ourselves

The apartment is a holiday home for myself and my partner Pam. We are both in our 60's. I am semi-retired and work for a charity and Pam is a teacher. We both live in London and are happy to swap my London home which is a two bedroomed Victorian cottage 30 minutes from the centre of London by underground train; the station Wanstead is two minutes away. The area is a suburb of London and surrounded by parks and forest, with lots of restaurants and sports' facilities close by. More details of London home if you request them.
