We have a roomy modern apartment (170 sq. m), with 3 additional apartments in the house, in a quiet neighborhood. It has two floors; On the first floor a kitchen (equipped with a gas stove, an electric oven an additional microwave oven a dishwasher a refrigerator and other kitchen appliances), a large living room (with a flat screen TV connected to a DVD and Cables, an Audi Stereo system and a piano) a bathroom, a larder, a balcony and a garden (with a lawn and a gas BBQ). On the second floor; an additional second small living room (with TV connected to a Video and Cables), a bathroom (with shower and bath) a master bedroom (with its own additional bathroom with shower and closet), two additional bedrooms, and a home office. The home is also equipped with central air-conditioning, a solar water heater, a washing machine, a dryer and 3 computers with wireless broad band internet access.

The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood in the town of Ra'anana (20 Km from the center of Tel Aviv and 6 Km from the beach). There is a shopping center nearby with a supermarket, restaurants some shops and a cinema within 5 minutes walk, the whole neighborhood is very green and there is a large public park very near. There are regular buses to Tel Aviv Center and the beach every few minutes. Ra'anana is considered one of the most pleasant suburbs of Tel Aviv. It is well located in the center of the country so a daily excursion by car can get you anywhere in Israel (1 hour to Jerusalem, 2 hours to the Sea of Galilee or to the Dead Sea). Uriel (52), manager of a small software company. Hana (52), a librarian at the Tel Aviv University. We plan to travel with our two daughters Aya (18) and Libi (13). We have a small dog at home (Lola) but she will probably not be nether staying at home or joining us during any possible home exchange. In summer (2010) we exchanged our home with a family from Kendal in the north of England. Before that we have been a few times in Switzerland. We will be glad to go to these places again or to any other location in Europe where the summer is significantly cooler than in our homeland in Israel. The only time we can all leave the house together and offer it for an exchange is during the summer holiday during July and August 2012.
