Description of our house

Our house is large, comfortable, clean, with lots of light. We have a large kitchen which is well equipped. There is a conservetry off the kitchen which is warm and sunny. This overlooks the hills and the garden which is mature and beautiful. We have a large sitting room with an open fireplace. There are Two bedrooms one ensuite with three bathrooms besides. There is lots of parking in the yard outside. We have a glasshouse where we grow organic vegetables and a little patch outside where we grow some more. The garden is very private with high hedges all around it.

We live near the small town of Killala in a very scenic area overlooking hills and valleys and views of the atlantic ocean. There are beaches and historic sites nearby. Killala is a very beautiful little town where you can relax and unwind in the peace and quiet of the local beaches. You can swim, surf, walk on the beach, theres hill walking nearby, horse riding is available too. Ballina is a larger town with all the usual amenities including some good resturaunts, pubs, nightclubs, shops, library, train and bus service,several good leisure centres, playground, tennis court, and lots more. James and I are in our early fifties and have two grown up children. We are a professional couple and love to travel. Our two children are in university and love to travel with us if the opportunity arises. We have just completed our first exchange and are looking foward to some more as its so much nicer to be in someones home where it is more personal. We really do not mind where we exchange to.
