Our home is 8 years old, its clean and bright - our comfortable living room has a 42" LCD TV and a stove to help relax and cosy up in the evenings. The childrens play room has many toys that will help entertain a young family - it also has a 42" TV - ideal for playing the Wii and watching DVDs. The kitchen/dinning room is well equipped as we like to experiment with different styles of cooking. All 3 bedrooms upstairs are ensuite - the childrens bedroom is the largest as it has 3 double beds in it - the other bedrooms have a kingsize and a double bed in them. The utility room is at the rear of the house attached to the garage. We have a beautiful large garden, ideal for BBQs, a childrens swing/slide, sandpit, bicycles,badminton net .. the local supermarket is 1km from the house.

Our home is set in the country side, close to the flesk river (ideal for fishing) with beautiful views of the mountains. It is 13km (10 minutes drive) from the popular tourist town of Killarney - http://www.killarney-insight.com which has a great selection of Cafes, bars, restaurants and hotels - offering fine dining, drinks and entertainment. There is a 6 screen cimena in town, good shopping, public swimming pool and many of the amenities in the local hotels such as spas, pools & leisure facilities are open to non-residents. The town offers entertainment for all age groups - in particular the INEC hosts well known international artists of music, comedy and theatre or if preferred our local pub only 1km from the house offers lively traditional music and dance at the weekends. The famous National park, Muckross house and gardens expands over 10,000 hectares - full of interesting walks, cycles, horse riding trails, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, photography and wildlife. Sightseeing can also be seen by horse and cart, car and tour boats. Our house is well placed on the famous ring of Kerry, 1 hour from Cork city & airport, 2 hours from Shannon airport (West of Ireland)and 3.5 hours from Dublin or Galway. These airports are well served by Ryanair and Aerlingus Something about ourselves

John is a process engineer, Mary is a buyer, we have 3 gorgeous children - twin girls aged 7 and our son aged 5. We like outdoor activities - walking, hiking, fishing, hurling, camogie, football, picnics and BBQs at home. We have already completed three successful home exchanges.
