Greetings from Ireland. Our enviable architecturally designed house is situated on a large site and has panoramic views of the highest mountains in Ireland and the stunning Gap of Dunloe. The house (300sq m) is very bright and spacious, ideal for a relaxing holiday or an action packed family holiday. Bicycles, football and soccer goals, basketball net, trampoline, swings and slides, snooker/pool table, table tennis and toys will all add to a child's dream holiday. Killarney our nearest town is the primary tourist destination in Ireland for all age groups with many activities including guided walks and tours through the renowned Killarney National Park and Muckross House, jaunting car rides, lakes, bicycle trails, public swimming pool, indoor soft play centres, pet farms, fishing (lake & river), golf (7 courses within 10 miles) and shows at the Irelands National Event Centre. Killarney Golf & Fishing Club which is just 2 km from our house will host the Irish Open in august. Our local village (2mns) has shops, restaurants, public houses, church and football grounds. We are close to beautiful beaches in Rossbeigh (20mns) & Inch (35mns).As we are a family that love to play Irish music, we have several instruments including an accordian, a mandolin, tinwhistles, piano and guitar. We can also recommend several venues for Irish music entertainment. Don't forget our 7 seater car is also on offer with our exchange. Our home is situated in a picturesque part of Ireland.Beaufort village is only a 10 min walk from our house. It has a church, post office,2 grocery shops, 3 public houses and restaurants( Irish music in 2 of these public houses). Killarney is only an 8 minute drive away. It holds the 2012 tidiest town in Ireland award. It is Ireland's primary tourist destination. Something about ourselves

We are a married couple( Marie is a teacher and I(Patrick) am an engineer. We have 4 sons, Ruairí 11, Daire 9, Éanna 6 and Feargal 4.All of our boys love watching and playing sports. They play Irish music-tinwhistle, accordian, mandolin and piano. We can recommend several venues in our area for you to listen to and enjoy traditional music.We exchanged houses with a family from Barcelona in August 2011 and had a wonderful experience.
