Newly extended house ten minutes walk from the centre of Galway in a very quiet area. 20 mins walk to beach. Large kitchen/dining room opening out onto a south facing garden. Master bedroom opens onto a large south facing terrace (30sq metres). Four bedrooms. Sleeps 8 people comfortably. Stove in Dining room. Secluded south facing back garden and front facing onto a park. Seperate living room with fireplace. Children very welcome. There are plenty of toys, Playstation 2, Nintendo Wii, dvds etc. for any children visiting. We do not watch much television so have a very basic television with only 4 Irish television stations so if you are coming to Ireland to watch television our house is not where you should come. We have an Suzuki Liana which we can exchange as part of the deal. We are open to exchanges in Ireland for short breaks. We have done 6 exchanges to date.

We have a dog called Jack which we can leave in the house or get a friend to look after.
We also have a fantastic music system, Sonos which allows you to play music stored on a hard disk around the house or listen to thosands of radio stations from around the world. You can also plug in your ipod or MP3 player and play it around the house.

We have a large trampoline with a safety net in the back garden and a full size table tennis table.

A very quiet area on the edge of Galway city centre, just ten minutes walk into the centre of town, twenty minutes walk from beach. Plenty of good pubs with traditional music. Galway has lots of festivals, a film festival in early July, a two week arts festival the last two weeks of July and The Galway races, the biggest horse racing meeting in the country. Galway is the tourist capital of the west of Ireland and a vibrant and exciting small city and an ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside.
