We live in Rathfarnham, Dublin 14 which is considered a desirable and quiet suburb on the edge of the city. (approx 4kilometers) We are near all bus and main routes to the city. Our area is a mature, green and spacious suburb. We have a drive where you can park your car and all the houses have well-tended front gardens. The streets are tree-lined and there are plenty of green spaces. It is a 2 minute walk to village facilities, convience stores(3), local butcher(1), dry cleaner(1), pubs(3), petrol station and restaurants. It is no more than 2 minutes to public transport, bus, metro and train. We are near four of the biggest parks in the city. The local Rathfarnham Castle park has a wonderful playground. Rathfarnham is full of wonderful history and in just 10 minutes you can be up in the Dublin mountains, en route to Glendalough or Enniskerry. We are about 15 minutes from the sea. If you want great unspoilt beaches you are 45 minutes from Wicklow,(the garden of Ireland) and have access to great hiking, mountain walks and stately homes. We are close to Trinity College. Naturally, Dublin's charms are well recorded, but you can visit the Guinness storehouse, Temple Bar and witness the splendour of Georgian Dublin on your doorstep. We think we live in the best spot to use as a base to discover Ireland, and to play golf - We hope you agree. ![]() Something about ourselves

Something about ourselves We are both professionals, (company executive and nurse). We have two lovely girls, aged 9 and 11 years of age. We are both from the west of Ireland but have lived in Dublin now for almost 20 years. We are all very out-going and love sports of all kinds particularly Gaelic Football & golf. We have travelled extensively and experienced our first home exchange in 2011 - which was really great. We have a lovely home and feel this would be the perfect way to travel. We would treat your home with respect as if it was our own. We are extremely house proud and Look forward to hearing from you. ![]()
