We offer a bright house in a quiet neighbourhood close to the centre of Dublin. We have three bedrooms, one with a new king size memory foam bed (not in photo) looking onto grass roof garden (still growing!), one with two new single beds with its own ensuite bathroom and one with a single bed in a converted attic with 2 rooflights to look over the cityscape. There is an open plan ground floor with living room looking onto a small rear garden, a dining room with a small internal courtyard and a kitchen facing the front garden where you can park. The ground floor (which has been completed renovated recently)has solid fuel stove, underfloor heating, wooden hardwood floor and a carbonated water filter ! There is a rear garden studio with wood stove and bathroom (which will be part used for storage, etc ). If you need there is a fold out double japanese bed in studio for guests - let us know if you need the space. We have a new leather sofa (not in photo) which is large enough for a single guest in our Living Room

Environs - 15 mins walk to docklands; 20 mins walk to Trinity College, 12 mins walk to Wattenmeer(large expanse of coastline - great for walks), 30 mins drive to beautiful country side; 5 mins walk to the Canal where [the irish literary writers took inspiritation from]; 5 mins walk to metro link (called the DART) for easy access all along east coast of ireland with blue flag beaches, etc. Neighbourhood - local cul-de-sac in an old quiet neighbourhood called Irishtown in Dublin city centre. House originally built by the national electricity board as paternalistic housing. Lots of pubs, shops etc in walking distance. there is a 24 hour convenience store 5 mins walk. In fact whole of dublin city centre is very walkable so you can access a number of the major city sites (20-40 mins covers the majority of them) . We have 2 adult bikes and 3 small kids bikes to get around quicker or make a faster dash to the shops. Note : We have no TV but a monitor and a DVD player. ![]() Something about ourselves

We are Simon and Johanna both in our late forties with 3 children all girls - a 12 year old Ella, and 8 years old Hanna and Sofia - twins. We are both architects. Simon has just completed Masters in Visual Art and Johanna is also a Regional and Urban Planner, a yoga teacher and a writer. We have had our own multidiscipline design business for 12 years. We exchanged in Paris 2010, Bilbao 2011 and Rome 2012 and all were fantastic. ![]()
