Built circa 1910, this is a beautifully refurbished period home with many original architectural details. Our neighborhoodOur neighbourhood: Malahide
Situated on the east coast of Ireland within easy access of Dublin city centre (25 mins by train, 45 by car) with all its shopping, museums, galleries and nightlife. 10 mins from Airport.
Our house is located a 5 min walk to the DART station (local commuter train) and to the beautiful heritage village of Malahide and 10 minutes walk from the beach. Boasting one of the most spectacular Castles in Ireland set in 250 acres of Parkland, with tennis courts, golf course, and Botanic Garden, Crafts shops, restaurant and Museum all of this with an entrance opposite the house. Malahide is arguably among the most highly sought after residential neighbourhood in Dublin. The village has a great selection of boutiques, cafés, crafts and bookshops. There are a great variety of renowned restaurants and bars to choose from within mins of our home, Malahide Marina with its boating and sailing clubs has many water based activities, sailing, wind-surfing, canoeing available and the area is perfect for walking as it has numerous scenic routes, be it woodland, beach or cliff walk
The fishing villages of Howth and Skerries are 15 minutes by car. There are many coast & cliff walks between Malahide and Howth. There are several links and golf courses nearby 25 in total. Malahide is only 50 minutes by car from World Heritage site at Newgrange in Co Meath theNewgrange in Co Meath the Megalithic Passage Tomb was built in 3200BC.

Something about ourselvesDorothy is an interior designer and John a management consultant. We have 3 daughters from 8 to 18 years. We have lived in France some years ago and are interested in visiting the south east of France. Dorothy enjoys sports and is a keen tennis player and loves the outdoors. We are interested in the visual and performing arts and have travelled and lived in other countries in Europe, USA and Middle East. We speak French.
