Our house is warm, comfortable, clean, spacious and modern. It has an open plan kitchen, dining, lounge and sun room which opens out onto a large deck and formal garden with a barbecue. The rest of the garden is one acre of lawn which slopes down to a stream. There is also a pottery and painting studio with a 30 square meter porch with outside dining area in the garden also.

We live less than one mile from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park in County Clare. Shannon Airport is only 20 mins away and yet we are in rural countryside. We are ideally suited as a base to tour the west coast of Ireland(the best side). To drive from our home to Lahinch on the coast for surfing, swimming, walking or golf takes only 40 mins. You can be in Galway city and the Burren in 50 mins. Something about ourselves

We are Eamonn and Shelagh, a married couple with two baby girls, Rudy 2 years and Mathilda 2 months. I am a teacher and part time painter and Shelagh is a Ceramic Artist. We are very relaxed, easy to deal with people. We want anyone who comes to our home to relax and feel comfortable as if they were in their own home. Our first exchange was with a french family last year and both families had a fantastic experience. That is why we are so keen to exchange again this summer.
