Description of our house

Our home is a comfortable 2 story house located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and a full bathroom all connected with a open TV/sitting area. One bedroom has a a king size bed, one has a queen size bed, one has a single bed and one has 2 beds, one single and one kid bed (up to 10 years old). Downstairs is an open living room area, the kitchen, a terrace, one WC and the laundry room. In the living room is a small piano, 2 sofas and a large dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped, and is adjacent to a kitchen dining area with a smaller dining table. From the kitchen dining are there is a door for the terrace. On the terrace is a gas barbecue and a Jacuzzi. In the yard is a set of kid swing and a large trampoline.

The house is located in a quiet suburb about 10 km from downtown Reykjavik. It is close to a open municipal conservation area (Heiğmörk), and a golf course is within 5 minutes walking. Several kids playgrounds are within walking range. A swimming pool, several groceries stores and a shopping mall are all within 2km radius. We are a couple with 4 kids from 7 to 17 years old. We are both professionals (An engineer and an attorney). We are experienced travelers, but have not tried a house exchange before. Several of our friends have tried it successfully and that has sparked our interest.
