Our home is a charming second floor two bedroom apartment in a quiet building, with a total of four apartments. We have a modern kitchen and bathroom, large living room with adjoining dining room. King size bed in master bedroom. In the nursery we have a baby crib and we would be happy to arrange for a single bed if needed. Very comfortable and clean. Laundry facilities on the ground floor. The balcony overlooks a nice back yard that is private and we have a private parking.

Our neighborhood
Our home is situated in the Laugardalur Park, the city's mains recreation area, and next door to the biggest geothermal swimming pool and gym (spa) in Reykjavík. It is conveniently close to the city centre – 25 minutes walking distance, approximately 5 minutes by car. The neighbourhood is very family friendly with a nice park nearby, play grounds and great transportation. Something about ourselves
We are a couple with one 19 months old daughter. We are both professionals (I work in marketing and my husband is a creative director at an ad agency). We have not done a home exchange before but are keen on trying it. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay here in Iceland.  = marks the location of this home
