Description of our house

We offer a spacious new apartment on 2nd floor, just outside of Reykjavik's center. Open kitchen with all new appliances. Three bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, TV, two children's room with single beds and lots and lots of Lego (TV, Xbox, Playstation2). The living room and the dining room are connected. There can sit 8 at the dining table and the living room has a TV, stereo with a CD player and radio. The sofa in the living room can be made to a bed where 3 people can sleep. Washing machine and tumble dryer in a seperate room. Nice bathroom with a tub and a shower. Spacious balcony. Our car is a Toyota (5 people), automatic, with air cond., CD player and a radio. We also offer use of our bicycles.

The apartment is situated in the outskirts of Reykjavik but since distances are not great in Reykjavik it takes only about 10 min to get to the city center by car. Because the apartment is placed in the outskirts it takes only 10-15 min to walk to one of Iceland's nature parks. Swimming pool with hot tubs is within walking distance. There is a bus stop not far from the apartment (about 1 min walk) where you can catch the bus directly downtown. Something about ourselves

We are a couple Lasse (42) and Gudrun (42), living together with two boys, Gunnar (14) and Gylfi (10). Gudrun is a lawyer working for the tax authorities and Lasse is computer consultant. Lasse is Danish and we travel quite often to Denmark to visit family. We love travelling whenever we are able to get away. We can travel on short notice. We have done two exchanges and both have been very successful. We promise to treat your property with respect.
