Our apartment is an upper floor in a two apartment house. The garden and the loundry is shared between the apartments. We have four bedrooms, two big and two small ones. One queen size bed, one double bed, one single bed and one small bed that can be lenghtened if needed. We also have a comfortable sofa and two extra mattresses. We have two balconies, small ones facing south and large ones facing north - absolutely wonderful sitting there on a bright icelandic summer night, wathcing over Fossvogur bay. Table and chairs on north balconies. Also a large garage. If you want you can have our car, a ford focus station. The bathroom is small with shower and tub. Lots of toys, PS2, books, piano, bicycles, rollerblades and lots of stuff :)

Our neighborhood
Kópavogur is right next to Reykjavík, and it takes about 5-10 min to drive to the center of Reykjavík. Our street is quiet and friendly, great for children - two playgrounds just few meters away. Swimmingpool, bakery, grocerystore and a museum nearby. Great sea-view and walks along the seaside. Two big shopping centers 5 min away. Something about ourselves
We are 5 in our family, Ari is a 36 year old computer programmer and works for a pension fund. Ester is a 31 year old project manager for a childrens health center. We have 3 children, Ynja 12 years old, Óðinn 9 year old and Urður 4 years old. - we love to travel and we think this could be a fun way to see new places. For a weekend exchange there would only be 2 travellers.  = marks the location of this home
