Description of our house

Our house is very well located in Kopavogur. It is a 2 floor house, 4 bedrooms on the upper floor and 1 on the ground floor (used as an office but also contains a double bed). One bedroom with a king size bed, other 3 rooms with single bed. We have a very big sunny garden (1600m2) with large trees and a lot of space for little feets to run around and play. There is also a childrens playhouse, sandpit and an infant swing. On the other side of the street is a playground (kindergarden).

Within 5 min walk you can go to; a gym, a very nice swimmingpool with a large outdoor and indoor pool, 3 hot tubs and water slides. Bakery, supermarket, art museum, library, café and a local shopping area (Hamraborg). 25 min walk Iceland largest shopping mall (Smaralind), 10 min drive to cental Reykjavik and 30 min drive to the Blue Lagoon. We are a family of 5. Dad 43 years old constructor, mom 40 years old IT manager (both professionals). We have 3 children, 12 year old girl and 2 boys, 8 and 6 years old. We treat other people properties with respect and educate our children to do the same. We did exchange for the first time in summer 2007, Arhus - Danmark, and we loved it. Have done exchange twice since 2007. With a family from Gironde - France in summer 2009 and Odense - Danmark last summer.
