My bright and sunny Cape style home has a newly renovated granite galley kitchen with dining area and good-sized living room. There is a bedroom on the first floor with a new bath and two bedrooms upstairs with a full bath. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed; the other two bedrooms have double beds. My home sits on an acre of land, and there is a huge rock in the backyard for interest(and maybe a little climbing practice?) in addition to yard and gardens.

My traditional New England home is about 10 miles due west from Boston and centrally located with easy access to highways to visit much of New England. There is much to see in Boston including world-class museums and many historical sights! You are 20 minutes from Concord and Lexington(including Bike Path from Bedford to Somerville), 45 min to Salem, an hour to Plymouth, an hour past that to see some of Cape Cod, to name a few other interesting places near by. You can be in southern Maine, Cape Cod, New Hampshire and Rhode Island (Newport!) in 1 1/2 hours for more delightful options. It is near the Riverside line as well as commuter trains to Boston and NYC(3.5 hours by train or bus). There is also canoe and kayak rental within walking distance so you can enjoy the Charles River. See http://www.paddleboston.com for details. Something about ourselves

I have done seven home exchanges to date and think they are a wonderful way to make new friends and "feel like a local"!I am a single professional woman who loves to travel! I have a very flexible schedule, so I am ready to explore! Depending on how many bedrooms you have, I would probably ask a friend or relative to join me. I love swaps because they allow us to feel like we are truly living in another country/place! Of course, I will treat your home as if it were mine! Please email me with any questions about my home or what there is to do here! Many people especially love to come to New England to see the foliage change in late September to early October! ![]()
