The apartment is a unique place in downtown Copenhagen. It is a newly renovated design condo by the great architects “BIG”, and though it is to be found only a 5 min walk from the central square, the place is extremely quiet at night. The building has a courtyard with a big tree and a few things the children can play with, though there are both trendy younger people, elderly and families living in the building.
The apartment is of two rooms with high ceiling and a bathroom/toilet. The bedroom has a double-bed and the living room a big sofa so a max of three people would be able to stay there. The living room/ kitchen has big windows to the courtyard and one of them opens as a door to a small private terrace. The apartment is floor level but all windows have curtains which can be pulled for total privacy.
In the apartment you will find private dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Also television and internet are at your disposal. Also a big rooftop with the Copenhagen skyline shared by the building is available (unless someone has warned they’ll throw a party, there will almost always be room for people to sit).
I am so happy to live there and I hope and believe whomever is staying there for their Copenhagen visit will be just as pleased. If you should have any questions about the place please don’t hesitate to contact me! The apartment is a unique place in downtown Copenhagen. The area which the apartment is placed is called Vesterbro. It is just behind the central station (few minutes walk) and 5-10min walk from the central square, “Tivoli” and “Strøget” (the long pedestrian shopping area). Actually it is of walking distance of almost all the big tourist attractions in main Copenhagen (Nyhavn, the Little Mermaid, most museums, the Zoo etc.). If you are not up for walking as much buses run frequently in any direction day and most nights. Also in 5-10min walking distance you’ll find one of Copenhagen’s biggest parks and the famous lakes of the city.
Vesterbro is a very mixed area which contains some of the hippest underground night life and boutiques (e.g. the meat packing district), some of the most expensive high class restaurants, some just plain normal/cheaper cafes and some of Vesterbro is even a “hang out” place for the more struggling part of the capitols population. My name is Unna, and I’m a middle aged woman who enjoys living in the city. I’m a manager at a public center for youngsters with social problems when I’m not dreaming of traveling the world. I have two creative daughters, both studying at the university, whom I planning to take with me the next couple of trips.
I’m an experienced traveler and love touring the cultural life of both my own and foreign cities. My name is Unna, and I’m a middle aged woman who enjoys living in the city.
