Our flat is at the fifth floor (with elevator) of of a very well kept, tipycallelly Parisian 1860 building. Although close to a very lively area, the flat is exceptionnally quiet, because located betweeen two courtyards. Three rooms are southward and bathed with sun all day long, even in winter.
The flat is 100 m2 with three bedrooms, a spacious living-room next to the dining-room. There is a double-bed in our bedroom, a single bed (possibly two) in our 17 years old son's room, and another single bed in my study. There is a folding bed for a baby (also games and books). Close to our bedroom is a bathroom with bath and washing machine. Near my study is another bathroom with shower. The kitchen has been newly restored; it is convenient for 4-5 people to have meals. Individual central heating, temperature as you choose.
The flat is old fashion charm with mouldings, fire place (not to be used), parquet floor, carpets. Furniture is suitable, with a lot of books and music (records and piano).

We are 100 m from Place Blanche and Moulin Rouge, in a street with a lot of shops (bakery round the corner). There a is a very popular market street rue Lepic on the slopes of Montmartre. The big department stores are 10 minutes walk, and so is Opera.
We use metro (three lines at Blanche and Place Clichy), bus, or bicycle (we can lend two bicycles). As it is an old building we have few close neighbours; underneath is a very charming family with kids between 13 and 24.

We are Brigitte and Michel, both sixty, married with three children, five grand children. We are still living with our youngest (17, adopted child from Vietnam). We are both still active. I am teaching French literature at the University la Sorbonne; Brigitte is designer for tableware.

We intend to spend one week in New York with our 17 years son and our 10 years grand son (the travel is the grand son's birthday present). The dates are 19-29 april 2012. Brigitte will be in New York for a professionnal show from april, 15th. We are Brigitte and Michel, both sixty, married with three children, five grand children.
