We offer a pretty cottage close to the centre of Brisbane city.
Our "town" house is a comfortable, cosy cottage close to all amenities.
We spend a lot of time on the spacious verandah enjoying the garden view.
We both enjoy cooking, so the kitchen is especially well equipped.
The rooms are very comfortable and we have a lovely lady who comes each week to help around the house with cleaning and washing.
We also offer a well equipped beach house at Cowan Cowan on Moreton Island, This house has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and toilets.
It is a 5 minute walk to the Western Beach which is quiet and lovely to enjoy for swimming, snorkelling and paddling our kayak.
The Eastern beach is a short drive away, boasting long white beaches. We offer a pretty cottage close to the centre of Brisbane city.

Brisbane has great shopping,theatres,restaurants and is very easy to navigate around. There is an express bus service into the city 5 minutes walk from the house. Brisbane is very close to the Sunshine and Gold Coast beaches, Moreton Bay Islands, Rainforest in the Lamington National Park and is the gateway to the Great Barrier reef.
A 3 hour drive to the Southwest sits the Granite Belt which boasts some excellent local wineries and the beautiful Girraween National Park.
The beach house at Cowan Cowan on Moreton Island,is a 1 1/2 hour ferry ride across the Bay, accessible only by 4 wheel drive. A reliable Toyota landcruiser is available for those trips.
Moreton Island has spectacular white beaches on the Eastern side and the beach at the village is closed to vehicles so is quiet and safe and on many days, especially during the week we are the only people walking or swimming in the clear still water. We are a semi-retired couple - a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon and physiotherapist. We enjoy good food, wonderful Australian and New Zealand wines and relaxing with friends and family at home in Brisbane or on Moreton Island.
