The attractive and unspoilt countryside around Lindfield is part of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is a half-hourly bus service from Lindfield to Haywards Heath, the main town,(2 miles)with frequent train service to Central, London 45 mins, Gatwick Airport, 20 mins and 20 minutes to Brighton on the south coast. Brighton, known as the 'city by the sea' has a unique atmosphere, truly cosmopolitan with a diverse range of restaurants, bars and shops; The Lanes, is known for its antiques and jewellery; The North Laine, slightly bohemian, with its colourful and vibrant shops and alleyways. Culturally, Brighton is famous for its 18th century architecture including the famous Brighton Pavilion.

We (Keith & Cathy) are a recently retired married couple of over 40 years. I was in the airline industry working for British Airways in Passenger Services and Cathy in insurance as part of the HSBC Group. We have 2 grown up children and 3 grandchildren. Now that we have the time we are interested in further travel.
