We have a good number of restaurants, a grocery store and a main-line station (with fast trains to Reading and London), all within easy walking distance. We are also near to Windsor, Ascot, Savill Gardens and Great Windsor Park, where the Guards Polo ground is situated: http://www.guardspoloclub.com . We love it here and often cycle through the park to Windsor. It’s a great location for country walks or into London by fast, direct train. There a couple of large theme parks (Lego Land: http://www.legoland.co.uk Thorpe Park: http://www.thorpepark.com water skiing and sailing activities nearby. A car is advisable, but not essential and we have a cost effective car hire agent five minutes from the house(http://www.pennycarhire.co.uk We are also only 30 minutes from Heathrow and an hour from Gatwick airport.

We are Remi and Sylvia, a married couple with a teenage daughter and a younger son. We are both professionals (Manager in a large media company and a Teacher at an international school) and enjoy travelling when able to get away. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see yours.
We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in the UK.
