Myrtle Beach Resort is all about you, sandy beaches, romantic sunsets, having fun and making beautiful memories.
This beautiful gated resort lies on the Atlantic Ocean and offers a pristine white sand beach for sunbathing, building sand castles, and for those long, lazy, romantic sunset walks. The calm blue water is perfect for swimming, surf boarding, sailing, fishing and splashing with the kids.
The resort boasts six swimming pools, a new lazy river and children's water park. This new complex also includes a huge Hot Tub and snack bar. Two indoor pools, roof top sundecks, steam room, jacuzzis, and exercise room provide year round recreation and relaxation for our guests.
Our 33 landscaped acres have play areas for the children, grills for family cookouts, tennis courts, basketball courts, putting green, duck ponds, snack bars, a deli, and a patio bar on the ocean complete with live music for dancing on those long balmy summer nights.
One of our favorite activities is sitting on our balcony, sipping our morning coffee, watching pelicans dive while hoping to catch a glimpse of the dolphins playing for our delight.
The Grand Strand is a beach party waiting for you to arrive. A day around Myrtle Beach can include deep sea fishing, swimming, para-sailing, wind surfing, jet skiing, golfing, sightseeing, shopping, music shows, fine dining, dancing, or just lying about on our beautiful beaches. So, put on your party hat and enjoy the fun.
Spring and Fall are a golfer's paradise with over 100 area courses to choose from. Course designers read like a who's who in award winning golf architecture ... Jack Nicklaus, Pete Dye, Rees Jones, Arnold Palmer to name just a few. Discount golf cards are available which provide excellent discounts at local courses.
Winter belongs to the Snowbirds who fly South to escape the ice, snow and bitter cold. They chase away those winter blues soaking in the warm indoor pools and hot tubs, working out in the fitness center, and making new friends at the many social activities at the resort.
* When your vacation is over, you can take the beautiful memories home with you!

Something about ourselves
We are a retired professional couple with two adult sons. Jerry loves to play golf and Glenna loves to travel. Our primary residence is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia.
Now that we are retired and free to roam, we have decided to become "world travelers". We have completed 15+ successful exchanges and look forward to the next adventure. We are clean and tidy non smokers who will treat your home with the same TLC and respect that we want for our own home.
2010 ... our holiday in Ireland, Scotland and England was an incredible adventure. This was our first experience with home exchange. Our hosts were first time exchangers as well. We could not have been more pleased with our experience!
2011 ... we were awed by the rugged beauty of the Canadian Rockies and Alaska. A Fall foliage "leaf peeper" tour of New England and the Atlantic provinces of Canada rounded out the year.
2012 ... we explored "the land down under" and both islands of beautiful New Zealand. We were fortunate to find four wonderful exchange partners who assisted with planning and made their lovely homes available to us so that our dream could become reality. It was a trip of a lifetime. Thank you all !!!
2013 ... we had a wonderful 11 day tour of Northern Europe and a Fall golf trip through Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada.
2014 ... Enjoyed our "winter escape" - a cruise through the Panama Canal and a wonderful golf holiday in beautiful Palm Springs, California. Just returned from another great reunion with our exchange partners from New Zealand. We had a wonderful time touring Norfolk and Virginia Beach highlights. Then we were off to Europe for a 22 day tour through the Med and Greek Isles. Busy year!
2015 ... Enjoyed our golf holiday in Hawaii during Feb/Mar. Played the Plantation course at Kapalua on Maui and beautiful Mauna Loa on the Big Island. What a treat! A return trip is a must. Met our wonderful friends from New Zealand out on the Outer Banks of NC for our annual reunion. A Fall trip to Nevada to play the desert courses and a couple shows in Las Vegas rounded out the year.
2016 ... Seeking exchanges in Norway and Sweden. Northern Ireland and Iceland are also on the list.
*Our dream is to ride motorcycles through the Alps (our dates are flexible). We are planning a visit of two to four weeks in order to see as much of the incredible scenery as possible. Making new friends, enjoying the food, culture, history, and local color is a priority. The memories will be priceless!
We do short golf holidays in the US every year as well.
Actually ... We want to see it all!
Please tempt us, your suggestions are most welcome. We look forward to hearing from you. We seriously consider all proposals and respond to all inquiries.
