My floating home (houseboat) is located on Lake Union in the heart of Seattle. This unique lifestyle is a perfect way to explore Seattle and the Pacific Northwest. The rooftop deck has a stunning view of downtown Seattle and of Lake Union. The home has been completely remodeled and is in great condition. The downstairs is an "open" concept with a large kitchen, dining area, and spacious living room with a gas fireplace. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. Also located downstairs is a bathroom with shower and a separate washer/dryer area. Upstairs is the TV/entertainment area and a master bedroom which has its own bathroom with shower. Also upstairs in another bathroom with a jacuzzi tub.

My houseboat is located on the East side of Lake Union within easy walking distance to buses or to downtown. The heart of the shopping district is 2 miles. It is also within 2 miles of the University of Washington. Within 3 blocks there are fabulous restaurants, coffee shops, and other stores. Because it is located between the University of Washington and downtown it is a very hip young professional neighborhood. The movie "Sleepless in Seattle" with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan greatly increased Seattle's houseboats popularity. Something about ourselves
