We live in a lovely, contemporary town house in clean, excellent condition. It is very family friendly and spacious, and in a quiet but convenient beautiful area. Our home is on a quiet cul-du-sac of about 40 homes, many occupied by ex-pats from Europe and Asia. On the first floor there is an open kitchen with all amenities, nice sized powder room (sink and toilet), an eat-in-kitchen, working fireplace, open floor plan to dining room and living room (with new stained hardwood floors) with large windows and sliding glass door that opens to a backyard deck with gas grill. Stairs topped with 20 foot skylight lead up to fully carpeted 2nd floor with two nice-sized bedrooms, complete hall bath with tub/shower, washer/dryer, plus a large master bedroom with private bathroom. Finished basement downstairs doubles as playroom/guestroom, with TV, Wii, computers, games, queen size sleeper futon and stereo.

Mamaroneck is a lovely tree lined suburb about 35 minutes from midtown Manhattan. It is on the Long Island Sound, known for its proximity (2 miles) to Rye Beach and Playland theme park, many golf courses, fine restaurants and access to recreation including marshlands and golf courses. A short train ride brings you to Grand Central Terminal in heart of NYC. We are also near to major roadways including the Hutchinson River Parkway and I-95 for access to CT and Boston. Access to car is recommended but house is within walking distance to parks, train station, library, deli/coffee, pharmacy, etc. Something about ourselves

We are a family of four with two boys We love to travel as well as host friends and family in our home. We make the most of life near NYC, visiting museums, seeing theatre, etc. We have seen much of the US but now that our children are older and more mature we want to show them other countries. We keep our house very clean - no pets (allergy) or smoking.
